Living with OCD and agoraphobia affects almost every part of my day, from food and leaving the house to emails, work and running an eBay business. This is what severe OCD actually looks like in my everyday life — and why I’m trying to build a life alongside it instead of waiting until I’m completely better.

When I first started eBay reselling, I naturally paid attention to the obvious things. Nice dresses. Recognisable brands. Coats. Jeans. Anything that looked as though it should be worth decent money.

There are problems you expect when you start a small reselling business. A parcel that defeats the delivery van isn't usually one of them. That's what happened to me, and it taught me some things worth knowing before you hand over serious money to a wholesaler.

On 8th June, I finally stopped talking about trying eBay reselling and actually started. I'd bought a mystery box of clothes for around £80 and decided to see whether I could turn it into a small income stream. My goal isn't to become a huge reseller. I simply want to see whether I can build something that helps pay the bills and gives me a little more financial freedom.
